Individual Tax Preparation: Federal, NJ, NY,...

Tax/Accounting fees are based on many factors. Billing hours are $125/hour. A typical 1040 with itemized deductions & NJ return is a minimum of $275. NY state return is an additional fee. Schedules B & D with numerous dividends and capital gains and self-employment are additional fees.

Self-Employed/Partnerships & LLC's

Schedule C (Self-Employment Income) for individuals that are independent contractors must keep a tax ledger with debits and credits for each tax year. In addition to expenses, they should also keep a log of capital expenses for depreciation purposes. A log for business mileage is also required by the IRS.

Consultations: Financial, Tax Strategies

From time-to-time clients need guidance on tax strategies, RMD's, IRA's, 401k's, and amending their withholding allowance (W4).

Planning estimated tax payments (1040ES) and amending prior tax returns (1040X) also fall into this category. The rate is $125/hour.

W2 Preparations for small business.

W2's & W3 transmittal forms for small businesses and non-profit organizations are available.

Filings for Non-Profit Organization (501c-3)

The annual filing of form 990 for non-profit organizations is also available. Depending on annual monies received and other factors would determine which form could be filed and the accounting fee.
